The Diseworth Heritage Trust exists to preserve the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of Diseworth and the surrounding villages, from Saxon times to the present day. The Trust is managed by a board of Trustees who meet regularly to plan the work of the Trust and is funded by members, donations, events and sponsorships.
Membership of the Trust is open to anyone who has an interest in local history and wants to support the establishment of the Heritage Centre, or use its facilities. Local groups and organisations are also encouraged to join. Friends and relations from outside the village, particularly former Diseworth residents, are very welcome to become members.
If you are interested in the work of the Trust, and want to have a say in the future of the Heritage Centre, why not join us? Although we have secured major funding for the restoration project, we are still dependent on funds raised by our members to meet the maintenance, and ongoing expenses.
As a member, you will get advance notice of special events, and discounts and privileged booking for some events. Friends and relations from outside the village, particularly former local residents, are also very welcome to become members.
If you'd like to join us, just click on the link below, print and fill in the form and post it with your subscription to the address shown on the form. Please sign the Gift Aid declaration if you are a standard rate tax payer, as we can reclaim tax.
Business sponsorship is particularly welcome - please contact a member of the trust or email us at
